Welcome to the Official Website of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. We are honored to represent the interests of the Somali people in Ethiopia and to foster strong diplomatic ties between our two nations.
Our Mission
The Somali Embassy in Ethiopia is dedicated to advancing mutual understanding, cooperation, and collaboration between Somalia and Ethiopia. Our primary mission is to promote political, economic, and cultural relations that benefit both countries and contribute to regional stability and development.
Somalia today is different from Somalia yesterday under the leadership of H.E. President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

Somalia has been working on political stabilization and building a functional government after years of conflict and political fragmentation. The country faces security challenges from insurgent groups like Al-Shabaab, which has hindered development and governance efforts.
